We checked out the “Lion Habitat” at the MGM grand while we were there recently. It’s the standard zoo “natural habitat” setup, and the lions pretty much do what lions do when they don’t need to hunt for food: they lie around and sleep. So, Ray and Hope wondered, why are there two guys in there with them? That doesn’t seem like a good idea.

Turns out, it’s not a good idea. Those are what you call WILD ANIMALS. Just ask Roy Horn. According to Jack Hannah, noted TV personality, the lion was just ‘playing’. Heaven help the trainers if they ever get him really pissed off.

We’re 31 days from settlement. I can’t wait.

Perhaps not as good as it once was, but still as much fun as I’ve ever had on a farm.

Still looking for something to be happy about on Monday.

The South African Hyundai marketing folks have created some wonderful ads parodying the BBC show “Top Gear”. I don’t know how many SUVs they’ll sell, but I laughed, and I HATE deers.

It appears the folks at Newsweek.com have got too much free time. Entering a video game ‘cheat code’ on the home page brought up stories about a Zombie Invasion. Pretty cool stuff for a publication that has one foot in the grave.
